All About Us
At first, in 2004, the 'us' was just me. Cathy Osborn
I'm the owner, site builder, bookkeeper, sales person, customer service rep., ordering department & shipping clerk, wife, mother, grandmother, ex-therapuetic riding volunteer and proud owner of a wonderful Palomino Paint Mare.
Since opening this store, I must admit I've had LOTS of help providing the kind of products you want and love AND the service you deserve. ( MANY thanks to my product providers and craftspeople for helping me serve you.)
I began this business in September, 2004, after retiring from the phone company in Michigan. Since the Good Lord blessed me with a love of horses at a very early age, I have been fortunate enough to own them off and on since my teens. When I decided to open an internet store, there was no question it was going to have something to do with horses. I mean, imagine getting to look at horse stuff and talk with horse people all day and call it work! I wanted to do something unique. Provide products you don't find just everywhere AND provide the kind of service you don't find just everywhere.
I want you to be really happy with your purchase. I know lots of these items are purchased as gifts to new horse owners or purchased by folks who just love their horses and want something really special for them. I want the color to be right, the size to be right and the price to be right. I want to encourage 4H and Pony Club riders to take pride in their horses and accomplishments and enable their leaders to reward them with something they can use.
I love hearing all of your horse stories and seeing photos of you and your horses. So many nice people, so many beautiful horses! My goal is to treat people the way I'd like to be treated. I hope I can exceed your expectations and you'll be so happy with my products and service that you refer all of your 'horse' friends. Now, once in a while, mistakes happen. Yours and mine. I promise to do the very best I can to make it right. If it's my mistake, it won't cost you a thing and I'll fix it or get you a new item. If it's your mistake (maybe you ordered the wrong size), I'll do the very best I can to correct it and keep your cost as low as possible. If there is something I could have done better, please let me know. There's always room for improvement.
