First quality, marine grade rope is used for the halters and leads.  Rope varies by manufacturer in softness, so if you prefer a stiffer rope, or a softer rope for your training needs, please CONTACT ME to determine which colors will best suit your requirements.

 Halters may be done in 1/4" & 3/8" diameter rope.  We suggest using 1/4" rope

for most of your training needs on any size horse.  The 3/8" rope may not be suitable

for smaller  or younger horses, as it just looks too large on the smaller heads.

  -  Knots used in these halters are identical to those used by top trainers and include

     the Fiador knot in the loop at the chin and double overhand halter knots.  The double

     overhand knots may be adjusted slightly to correctly fit your horse.   (Cheaper

     halters can be made using simple knots but the right knots provide safety for

     you and YOUR HORSE.)

  - Crown end of rope is always finished with copper for easy tying and good looks.

  - Beads (Optional) Beads can be coordinated with halter rope, specifically requested colors, 

     or you may request beads spelling out your horse's name (limit 6, please - longer names make

    the bead tassel too long.)
