HOW TO MEASURE
When asked for measurements, these 2 are the most critical:
- Nose measurement (measure all the way around the nose at the level the halter will sit, just below the facial crest bone).
- Cheek Measurement (measure from the top of the jawbone, down to the point of the facial crest bone. See Photos)

First quality, arbor rope and marine grade rope are used for the halters and leads.
Rope varies by manufacturer in softness, so if you prefer a stiffer rope, or a softer
rope for your training needs, please CONTACT ME to determine which colors will
best suit your requirements.
HALTERS may be done in 1/4" & 3/8" diameter rope. We suggest using 1/4"
rope for most of your training needs on any size horse. The 3/8" rope
may not be suitable for smaller or younger horses, as it just looks too large on the smaller heads.
- Knots used in these halters are identical to those used by top trainers and
include
the Fiador knot in the loop at the chin and double overhand halter knots.
The double overhand knots may be adjusted slightly to correctly fit your horse.
- Twisted Crown ( Optional ) - helps you gain more control.
- Double Nose Knots (Optional)
- Wrapped nose -(Optional) Adds color, but does not interfere with the
effectiveness of knots (Done in smaller rope - will coordinate with halter colors) Original wrap, V-Wrap or Figure 8 wraps available.
- No metal on horse’s face. Built to last and made with pride in workmanship!
- Easy to Clean: Toss in a pillowcase, tie shut, then toss in the washing machine.
Leads are made of the same high quality rope (2000 lb. test), but in 1/2" or 5/8"diameter - again for good feel & weight - with leather popper at the handle knot.
