"DARBY" A beautifully designed custom horsehair bracelet made from YOUR own horse's tail hair includes our unique hand-crafter sterling silver tube bead with your horse's name or other text meticulously hand stamped onto the the bead. NEW OPTION: If you'd like to add some sparkle to your bracelet, we have several colors of crystal beads that may be added on either side of the name bead. Please see larger photo for colors.

Shown here in an 8 strand, round braid, this bracelet will be about 5mm in diameter and is enhanced with solid sterling silver findings, optional sterling silver charms & a sturdy lobster claw clasp. Other braid styles also available. CLICK HERE to see other braid options.

Each piece is hand stamped without using a machine. This gives each piece a unique and organic feel. The spacing is all done by hand and you may see some irregularities that give the piece a hand-made feel and not a commercially produced look.
Your bracelet will come gift boxed with care instructions.

Options:

~FONT: BLOCK (all caps) or Fancy Font (See larger photo for font samples.)
~CHARM OPTIONS - Select from a stirrup, horseshoe or snaffle bit or silver disc (for engraving over 8 spaces, ie. if you'd like dates 1983-2011) Please indicate lettering for disc in SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

~ LENGTH - Please measure your wrist, then add 1.5" for comfort, or have it done in a necklace length
~ END CAPS - The sterling silver end caps may be done in a bright silver or antiqued silver finish.

~ LETTERING -We can do up to 4 lines and up to 8 spaces in each line, so will do everything we can to accommodate longer names.
If your bracelet it 7" or under, please limit the spaces on each line to 8. If adding dates, ie., 1985-2011 (9 spaces), we can do that on a silver disc instead of on the tube bead. SEE CHARM OPTIONS.
If 7.25" or more, add 1 space per quarter inch and select the Fancy font with only the first letter in caps.

~If you have more than one color of hair, please indicate that below and I'll call to discuss a braiding pattern.

For each bracelet, we'll need a length of tail hair about 16" long, gathered into a ponytail with a rubberband. It will need to be about the size of your index finger. After placing your order, I will email instructions on how and where to send your horse's tail hair. We take special care with the hair for each and every bracelet. You may request any leftover hair to be returned to you, as we understand how precious it may be.
