These hand tied halters are made of solid 1/4" rounded cord leather.

3 Leather Colors to choose from for the halter 
Price shown is for the halter and the wrapped nose.

We put a little extra wrap around the fiador knot under the chin, to ensure it stays in place.  That wrap will be the same colors as the V wrap on your halter.
It's always nice to get a few measurements, just to be on the safe side.

Although these halters are leather, they are NOT breakaway halters. You should never leave them on a horse unattended. Rope halters in good condition are very hard to break & leather cord halters kept in good condition are the same.
As with all quality leather, it will need to be oiled and taken care of properly and kept in a dry place, otherwise it could become stiff,crack or break, or become moldy (which does wipe right off) but that still does NOT make it a breakaway halter. You must use the same caution with these halters as you would with a regular rope halter.
